Camilla Nouveau is UCB Lyon 1 / INSERM PhD student at the graduate school Neuroscience and Cognition (NSCo). She is co-supervised by Elif Koksal-Ersoz and Vincent Magloire. Her current work focuses on understanding how neuromodulators and neurotransmitters regulate neuronal excitability during the transition from normal brain activity to an epileptic state. To address this, she combines in vivo electrical and neurochemical recordings with mathematical modelling to predict states of vulnerability to seizures.
